Hi, I’m the woman behind FUTURELICIOUS!

Futurelicious is my second baby after my human baby and was birthed from a very simple idea: what if…the future was actually hella sexy? Hella worth looking forward to? Hella egalitarian?

I grew tired of the endless nihilism haunting my generation. Too many of us have accepted the absurd idea that imagining a better future is naïve, while imagining our collective downfall is somehow sophisticated. Nah girl. I vehemently believe political imagination shouldn’t feel dry and elitist. Futurelicious is my attempt to step into the ring and go toe-to-toe with billionaire tech bros, offering humanity a more compelling alternative to their dystopian cyberpunk futures. Come on now, we deserve so much better!

Every piece you’ll read here is an exploration of the worlds we could build if we centered care, community, beauty, pleasure, liberation and all the delicious things in life. It’s a place for feminist ideas, matriarchal perspectives, indigenous voices, solarpunk art, hopeful thinking, and stories from people already creating alternatives to the status quo.

If we want to birth the future into existence, we first gotta flirt with it. Heavily. This is the place where it all starts.
